"Asteroid Mining: A Gold Rush in Space"

That time STUDENTS developed a plan to stop Armageddon!

"In the 1960s, when the possibility of an asteroid impact alarmed the American public for the first time, MIT students drafted a blueprint for saving the Earth."

    on that note...

There are millions of asteroids in our solar system, with over 1.1 million estimated in the main Asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter alone. While more than 1,700 Near-Earth Asteroids have been discovered and classified as potentially hazardous, scientists are continuously monitoring asteroids to track their orbits and assess risks. And then, there are those keen on asteroid mining as a business and resource opportunity.

Citizens worldwide from all walks of life are enthused by the cosmos. Many have big ideas vested in the future. Some are even keen on planetary sustainability.

Students are particularly well poised to be the solvers of the most pressing issues of our time .

Let's see what they come up with, let's see what they can do!
